CLAT 2019 Exam Pattern has seen no changes over the years.But this year 2019, NLU Odisha, Cuttack will hold the national levelexamination in pen-paper mode on May 12  2019(tentatively). The law entranceexamination is conducted separately to enrol students to 3 year LLB, 5year Integrated LLB and LLM programs

Separatequestion papers are set for all the courses, where all have a differentstructure and level of questions. However, the basic paper pattern in all CLAT remainsthe same. It is given below:

• Duration of exam – Maximum time allowed to is 2 hours.
• Type of questions – Objective type questions are asked in CLAT exam
• Medium of exam – The paper is set in English only
• Marking scheme – 1 mark is awarded for a correct response. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for an incorrect response.

CLAT Exam Pattern – LLB Program

Thepaper for LLB course is divided into fivesections. Thefirst section aims to check a candidate’s ability to logically solve asituation. The second section tests a candidate’s interest and knowledge forLaw. Other sections evaluate candidate’s passage comprehension ability,mathematics and Basic English knowledge.
