Eligibility for delhipolytechnic
§ Theapplicants must be a resident of Delhi.
§ Theapplicants who are appearing are also eligible to apply for Delhi CET 2017.
The course-wise eligibility criteria is as follows-
§ Diploma courses (Eng. & Non-eng.)- Musthave cleared secondary exam or equivalent scoring minimum 35% marks in Science,Mathematics & English.
§ Modern office practice (English) OR 1 year certificate courses(Hospitality operations, retail services & finance executive) in WCSC- Musthave cleared higher secondary exam or equivalent scoring minimum 45% (40% forSC/ST) in aggregate of best 3 subjects including English.
§ Modern office practice (Hindi)- Musthave cleared higher secondary or equivalent scoring minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST)in aggregate of the best 3 subjects including Hindi/Sanskrit.
§ Pharmacy or 1 year certificate course- Software testingassistant in WCSC-Must have cleared higher secondary or equivalent exam scoringminimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry &either Biology or Mathematics.
§ Lateral Entry- Must have cleared highersecondary exam scoring minimum 60$ in aggregate of best 5 subjects.
OR
Must have clearedsecondary exam of CBSE or equivalent + 2 years ITI (eng.) from it is/ITCs onlysituated in Delhi scoring minimum 60% marks in aggregate of all subjects.
§ Thequestion paper of CET 2017 will be available in Hindi & English bothlanguages.
§ Theapplicants will be given 4 marks for each correct answer and there will be apenalty of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
§ Therewill be total 150 questions in each test. In Pharmacy, total number ofquestions will be 210 and the applicants have to attempt only 150 questions bytaking 60 questions either from Mathematics or Biology.
§ Theduration of the examination will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
§ Thetotal marks of the CET Delhi 2016 examination will be 600.
